So, who do you think is the rightful ruler of Westeros?
(If you haven't read everything, but still want to play the game, maybe a thread in the TV-only or rampant speculation section would be fun?)
Might makes right: whoever can take the throne, probably Dorne or a Targaryen.
Inheritance: Stannis, as Robert's true heir. But then, Robert took the throne by force, so maybe it should be Prince Aegon or Dany.
Whoever earns it: Stannis is certainly trying to earn it by saving the realm from Others and Boltons. Jon is/was doing a better job, and might also count from an inheritance point of view if the standard theory of his parentage is correct. Dany is trying to learn to be a good ruler too, although now she seems to have accepted that she's all about the blood and fire so who knows if that will last.
No-one, they should all split up into separate kingdoms again and grow some damn crops already?
No-one, Sam should set up a nice democratic election and parliament so the villagers can vote?
Personally, I'm all for Jon being king. He takes his responsibilities seriously, but isn't such a noodle about honour as Ned was. He's prepared to do what it takes for the good of the people, and if he's older than Aegon then he inherits too.
