Hi I'm Miss-Lapin on Metafilter and known to my friends as Bunni. Oh how I lerve a variety of TV shows-currently I'm wondering what is going to rush in to fill the void left by Dr. Who and Game of Thrones. I also love movies-foreign, horror, indie, even, here and there, a mainstream comedy. (Currently I'm excited to see the newest Cronenberg movie "A Dangerous Method.") I'm also a big fan of obscure cult movies and TV shows-and I'm always impressed by how well informed my metafilterean brethren and sistren(?) are.
I can't give enough thanks for this forum being created. While I do participate on several TV/Movie forums on Ravelry (which is very good about that whole spoiler thing), I really enjoy the in depth analysis and discussion about these shows at Metafilter. Now I can enjoy Metafilterean discourse without the spoilers!

Hi, I'm wens. Don't have HBO, but just finished the first book of Game of Thrones. I almost managed to avoid reading spoilers, but started the second book, so I should be able to get ahead of the next tv season (and will watch when I can get it.) Currently watching BSG, but haven't been enjoying it since the whole New Caprica thing. I'll see it through, though. I watch ST:TNG over and over as comfort tv.

Hi! arcticseal on MeFi, Chris in RL.
Reading Song of Ice and Fire (Bk 3), hassling my DVD guy here in China as we only have as far as episode 6 of GoT so far.
Love Dr Who, Boardwalk Empire, Twin Peaks, anything comedy, particularly British as it reminds me of home.

Fairytale on MeFi, Ardaniel on the rest of the Internet. Currently being an unemployed VFX geek/ guinea pig for fascinating neuroendocrine issues/ unexpected Python-community crash test dummy.
Primary geekitude is comics. Creators: Matt Fraction, Stuart Immonen, Matt Wagner, Grant Morrison, Kelly Sue DeConnick, Jonathan Hickman, Jason Aaron, Colleen Coover, Steven Sanders, Chris Claremont before the mind-controlling dinosaurs got so obvious, Brian Clevinger, Scott Wegener, Rick Remender, Kieron Gillen, Jamie McKelvie.
Actual titles: 25-year Marvel Zombie. Right now, my pull is so large that my shop owner worries when I don't have a job-- her grandkids' college tuition is in danger when that happens. DMZ, Northlanders, Uncanny X-Men, Journey Into Mystery, Screamland, Uncanny X-Force, Mighty Thor, New Avengers, Adjectiveless Avengers, Scarlet, Powers, Moon Knight, FF, Hellblazer, Invincible Iron Man, Fear Itself and a couple of the tie-ins, Casanova, Atomic Robo, SHIELD, Secret Warriors, Wolverine. Mr. F reads Sweet Tooth, PunisherMAX, The Sixth Gun, and a few others on top of that, and I've probably forgotten a good chunk of our shared pull anyhow.
TV: My Little Pony, Transformers Prime, Criminal Minds (anyone? anyone? I have so few CM fans in my everyday life...), Leverage, The Glades (such trashy watching!), Ice Loves Coco (no really you have NO idea how fascinating it is).
I go back and forth on the utility of Big Bang Theory to my life, and I don't think I have enough time to catch up on Eureka even though I'd like to now that Wil Wheaton and Felicia Day are recurring characters.
Movies: Them!, Real Genius, Goodfellas, Full Metal Jacket, Terminator 2, Top Gun, the Abrams Trek (the best movie I ever worked on!), Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair, The Abyss, Iron Man, Run Lola Run, The Hurt Locker.
The best book I've read so far this year is Among Others by Jo Walton. My favorite book overall is probably Pattern Recognition by William Gibson.

Heyo!
Name's Kevin, same as on Mefi. I'm a science fiction nerd who's spent a lot of time reading magazines, books and comics and watching TV shows and movies. It's quite frightening how much lifespan I've used up exploring other people's imaginary worlds. Definitely the number two activity after sleep.
As for my interests, I'm all about the space opera. If it's about space or has a spaceship in it I've probably seen it, or will see it soon. But over the decades my interests have ranged far and wide from that central obsession, into literature, science, comic books, anime... just all over the place.
And I've spent my Internet life talking about it on BBs that look like this one. It feels like coming home!

Hi, everyone!
I'm Julie, also called orrnyereg over on MeFi. I'm here for the Doctor Who and Firefly; I actually quit watching TV a few years ago except for my favorite shows: Battlestar Galactica, The Wire, and NuWho (though my heart will always belong to Jon Pertwee). Thank goodness for an unspoilered place!

Hey. You won't recognise me from metafilter because I don't comment that much, but if you did, you'd notice my username is the same in both places.
I watch the new Dr Who, Breaking Bad, Mad Men, Leverage, a bunch of crappy shows I am not willing to admit to. I rather want to watch the My Little Ponies show. I gave up on both Eureka and True Blood.

Hi, I'm taz, and I'm mostly here to feed off your brainz... aka figure out what to download and watch, since I don't get most U.S./U.K. shows where I am. Don't mind me, and just try to ignore that sucking sound next to your ear.

Hi. I'm Mephron over on MeFi too.
So, uh. That's pretty much all.
I don't watch a lot of TV - we don't even have cable TV - but we have Netflix Streaming and I plan to get a Leverage S4 subscription as soon as iTunes offers it.

Hi, I'm Jasmine, or jeoc on MeFi.
I've been watching Game of Thrones (read all the books), and the Thursday night NBC comedies (Community, Parks & Rec, 30 Rock, The Office). I also watch Glee, but I am suitably ashamed about it.
I'm a scifi nerd, but never really got into Dr. Who (I know!). Love Star Trek, though, esp TNG.
I'm really excited! to have a place to talk about TV with other MeFites.

Hey folks! I'm deborah aka ..er.. deborah.
Being in Canada, it's usually a year or two before we get US TV series. And I don't have HBO so I haven't been watching Game of Thrones, but I probably will at some point. I really need to pick up the books.
I've never watched Dr. Who.
Can't wait for Mad Men to start up again.
Enjoyed Firefly, Twin Peaks, X-files, Six Feet Under, ST:TNG.
Regular TV watching in season: House, Castle, Lie to Me. I used to watch Glee, but the 2nd season lost me.
Series I'd like to see but haven't: Battlestar Galactica, Deadwood, Rome and others I can't remember right now.
I read a lot, usually a book every two days or so. I enjoy history, biographies, general non-fiction, general fiction, science fiction, fantasy, teen and pre-teen and the occasional romance novel.

Howdy, you can call me Fellini or JL. I theoretically teach people things for a living, but that's really just to finance my actual life of record acquisition, TV and movie watching, horrible piano playing, and dog and cat wrangling. Here are the shows I admit to watching:
As titanically great as anyone can reasonably expect: Breaking Bad, The Wire, Justified, Deadwood, Six Feet Under, Galactica (yeah, flawed, but still), portions of Buffy, and some others I'm spacing out. I watch Mad Men but always feel it's vaguely more hat than cattle. These are shows that regularly have moments that are painfully beautiful.
Intelligent fun: The Closer, Suits, Walking Dead, The Good Wife, Angel, Firefly, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Fringe, The Sopranos, Dexter, Big Love, In Plain Sight, Brisco County, Jr.
Delicious tooth-rotting candy: **The Glades**, Castle, Criminal Minds, Weeds, Sons of Anarchy, Quantum Leap, ST:TNG, Memphis Beat
Haven't seen, need to: Friday Night Lights, Arrested Development, Game of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire, Treme
Great shows of the past that got shit-canned because I liked them: Action, Home Front, Almost Grown -- and the sublimely terrible Crimetime After Primetime 5pack that used to be on CBS late night before Letterman moved over
