Is anyone still watching? I just watched the latest ep and...yeah. The show seems to be fairly derivative of the original "V." I'll admit, this episode, at least, made me slightly less annoyed with the Americans on the team. I continue to be a bit thrown by the political messages on the show, which is why I think US reception has been so mixed.

I'm still watching, but meh; it's become a bit of a slog. It all feels very generic-CIA-drama-ey and not particularly Torchwoody any more.
And the American actors are all too American and the California locations are all too bright and sunny; it's lost its essential Cardiff feeling. And it's too long an arc. Children of Earth worked because it was short and pacey; Miracle Day is just hours and hours of meandering.
I haven't been following the ratings -- is it failing? I'm hoping that if it doesn't work on Starz that it at least bounces back to BBC Wales rather than dying altogether.
(And can we have the Hub back? And a team? And monster-of-the-week episodes? I fear RTD isn't interested in doing that any more...)

OK I'm not making a new post because I think I might be the only one watching anymore. Made it to the end. The episode ended with 2 cliffhangers so it's pretty clear they plan on another season. Honestly, I hope either 1. this doesn't happen and it reverts back to BBC 2. they learned from this season so if there is another season it's not like this one. (Psssst, Hire Marni Noxon as a writer)
