It's not like we few, we happy few really need a separate thread for each episode, but since the spoiler policy lets us mention any detail from S1E01 up through the end of the thread-titling episode without using spoiler tags, why not?
The slavering hordes that show up later will thank us.

Interesting that they revisited Marie's season 1 kleptomaniac storyline. I remember thinking that that was just filler while they fleshed out a bigger story-arc for the show. I really felt last episode that she was gonna start sleeping around on Hank as a way of venting her frustration (the way she flirted with the mineral delivery guy, invited the personal trainer to move in). Also, really enjoyed the use of the Fever Ray track when Jessie was driving home at night. Reminded me that the show's site has a blog keeping track of the music used: blogs.amctv.com/breaking-bad/2011/06/season-4-music.php(remember back after s1's finale, wondering who did that awesome end credit music, checking the blog and realizing Gnarls Barkley was good for more than just that annoying 'Crazy' track)

Does Jesse not have neighbours?
Poor Jesse. Aaron Paul is doing a really brilliant job on a character who started out as the stupid but funny sidekick.
I am pleased they revisited the Marie arc, and also that this spurred Hank into movement. Skylar amused me a lot this episode.
What happened to Walt Jr, or whatever he's calling himself now? I don't recall seeing him yet.

Marie spinning bullshit and stealing things is a nice parallel to Skyler's new career as a con artist and money launderer.
I loved the final shot of the party scene, where Jesse looks like a king presiding over a fucked-up court.
And already Hank gets a way to put his 'cataloging' skills to good use. He is gonna love that lab notebook.

I'm really glad they brought that Marie stealing shit thing back, because it was distressing me to think that they'd just up and abandoned a plotline because they didn't know what to do with it. If they do something with this in the future, I'll probably be able to will myself into believing it was all on purpose. [I'm a LOST fan.]

Does Jesse not have neighbours? IANAMH (i am not a meth head - i assume we'll have future use for this abbreviation around here!) but I have lived in a house very similar to Jesse's. In that case we were even sandwiched between two bigger, more affluent houses; note that Jesse's is on a corner. Anyways, nobody complained, whether the music was blasting at 6pm or 6am. Sketchy people coming and going, and it wasn't uncommon for strangers I'd never met before to be fucking on my lawn. Part of life in Urban America - or Canada in my case - is to look the other way and avoid trouble if at all possible. Messed up, but the way it is.

Remember this is the same neighborhood where a guy who'd been poisoned with phosphorous gas was stumbling around and ran into a tree and got kidnapped into the back of an SUV in broad daylight and nothing happened.

Also here are some 8-bit icons for a fair number of characters.

Does it make me a bad person that I sort of enjoyed watching Skyler put the screws to the car wash guy? Looks like she and Walt may be headed toward a reconciliation.
And yeah, kleptomania is a coping skill for Marie's various sources of misery, so I was pleased to see it make a comeback. Walter Junior hasn't made an appearance since he showed up for breakfast in Episode 1.
Meanwhile, I wonder if Hank might decide to consult his brother-in-law for help figuring out the chemical formulas in those lab notes since his cop friend doesn't want to give it to the DEA.
